Wendel Swan is an eclectic collector of oriental rugs as well as Swedish folk weavings.  A recipient of the Joseph V. McMullan Award, he has been a frequent and popular speaker on textile arts at the Textile Museum and at various rug societies and conferences.  He is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Textile Museum and Chair of the Executive Committee of the ICOC.
