Our Meeting Place: The Salmagundi Club

The Hajji Baba Club holds its in-person meetings at the Salmagundi Club in New York City. Founded in 1871 and housed in a landmark brownstone in Greenwich Village, Salmagundi is one of the oldest art organizations in the United States. It has long served as a gathering place for artists, collectors, and patrons of the arts.

The venue provides a fitting and culturally rich setting for our programs. Our meetings take place in the Parlor, which features rotating exhibitions from the Club’s historic art collection, creating an atmosphere that is both intimate and inspiring.

Each meeting concludes with a “Show & Tell” session, where members are invited to share recent acquisitions or favorite pieces from their collections. Afterwards, members can gather for an optional dinner in the Salmagundi dining room.
