Dinner will be at 8:00pm at a local restaurant.

Dinner will follow at 8pm at the Kellari Taverna. A four course dinner by subscription at Kellari Taverna, directly across the street, for $65 per person (inclusive of tax and gratuities but not beverages). It is essential to RSVP whether you are only attending the lecture or participating in the dinner.

This program will highlight the textiles from Gujurat, Kutch and Rajasthan with an emphasis on traditional artisans’ textile crafts including weaving, block printing, tie dye, double ikat (patola), embroidery and mirror work. Roger and Claire Pratt will bring examples of both antique and current textile production from the region. The talk will be accompanied by images from western India.
Members are invited to bring textiles from their collections for show and tell.
