Kurt Munkacsi is a well known Turkmen collector and former president of the Hajji Baba Club. He has lectured at the Textile Museum, ACOR, New England Rug Society, and numerous other rug societies. He was profiled in HALI’s New York Collectors Issue, has published articles in HALI and was co-author of the catalog “Bigger is Better, Main Carpets of the Turkmen”
